There are several different options available for getting to and from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Several of those are listed at this link from the University.

  • Car: Parking is available at several different lots around the airport. If the trip is short, and several people are attending a conference, then this could be a relatively low-cost solution.
  • Taxi: Dave probably doesn't want you use this option.
  • Custom Transit: A van service. It's cheaper than a taxi because the will pick people up from multiple locations around Ann Arbor before leaving for the airport.
  • Michigan Flyer: A bus service. Departs from the Four Points Sheraton. Take AATA #36 or park your car at the hotel for $2/day.
  • airBus: A bus service operated by the Michigan Student Assembly. It's a service only provided during major travel times during the school year (e.g. winter break, spring break)

When in doubt, just ask other students how they get to the airport.
