This page details a few pieces of useful software to make testing easier when in the lab. Feel free to add to this lineup.

Command Expert

Command Expert Home Page This allows you to very easily learn SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) which is what the matlab test scripts are written in. It provides a GUI to allow you to "try" sending commands and sets of commands to an instrument before actually running them in a script. It also shows all of the available commands for that particular instrument. Finally, it helps in networking that instrument for the first time.

Power Panel

Power Panel Download Page This software was developed by Agilent to help in using power supplies. I have no experience with it, but it might be useful.

BenchVue

BenchVue This is brand new software from Agilent that allows for Front-Panel instrument control on your desktop.
